
LSP Hog Raffle Drawings Feb. 15 in Montevideo

MONTEVIDEO, Minn.—Looking for a chance to dine on delicious pork while supporting a good cause? The Land Stewardship Project’s western Minnesota office will hold drawings Thursday, Feb. 15, for two half hogs from Pastures A’ Plenty farm.
A ticket can be purchased for a $10 donation. You can purchase tickets at the Land Stewardship Project office in Montevideo at 301 State Road (320-269-2106). Tickets will also be available at the Land Stewardship Project’s Family Farm Capitol Breakfast Tuesday, Feb. 6, in Saint Paul (www.landstewardshipproject.org/alerts/06/newsr_061215.htm).
There will be two separate drawings for the meat. Each half-hog is valued at $130 and will be processed to the winners’ specifications. The drawings will be at 8 p.m. on Feb. 15 during the Land Stewardship Project’s membership Appreciation Meeting at the Montevideo Community Center. You need not be present to win.
