SAINT PAUL, Minn.—You can support stewardship and Fair Trade this holiday season by buying handmade gifts at the Saint Paul Ten Thousand Villages store on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Ten Thousand Villages is donating 20 percent of all sales from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. that day to support the work of the Land Stewardship Project (LSP). The store is located at 867 Grand Avenue (Victoria Crossing West).
Ten Thousand Villages is a group of Fair Trade retail outlets founded in the 1940s by the Mennonite Central Committee. Its mission is to pay artisans in the developing world fair prices for their work. More information on the Saint Paul outlet is available by visiting the store’s website or calling 651-225-1043.
Please come out to show your support for Fair Trade and LSP on Dec. 2. For more information, contact LSP's Mike McMahon at 612-722-6377 or mcmahon@landstewardshipproject.org.
