ROCKLAND, Wis. — A field day on raising and marketing vegetables on a small number of acres will be Saturday, May 2, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Sweet Ridge Farm in Rockland (W692 HWY 33, Rockland, WI 54653). This event, which is sponsored by the Land Stewardship Project’s Farm Beginnings program, is free and open to the public. Please pre-register before April 25 by calling Parker Forsell at 507-523-3366.
Sweet Ridge Farm works with permaculture and bio-intensive growing techniques to produce vegetables on five acres for wholesale and direct-to-consumer markets.
