
Introduction to Grazing Workshop &
Field Day May 9 in Goodhue-Lake City Area

GOODHUE, Minn. — An introductory workshop and field day on the principles of grazing will be held Saturday, May 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., near the communities of Goodhue and Lake City. The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Goodhue. A field day will follow at Wiebusch Valley View Farm near Lake City so participants can view firsthand how the principles discussed at the workshop are being put into practice.
This event, which is sponsored by the Land Stewardship Project’s Farm Beginnings program, is free to Land Stewardship Project members and open to the public for a cost of $65. Please pre-register by calling Parker Forsell at 507-523-3366 or e-mailing parker@landstewardshipproject.org.
