SAINT PAUL, Minn. — The fifth annual Land Stewardship Project (LSP) Family Farm Breakfast at the Capitol will be Tuesday, March 2, from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at Christ Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill (105 University Avenue West in Saint Paul — across from the Minnesota State Capitol). This year's theme is "Supporting Local Food, Local Control and Strong Rural Communities." The cost is $10 per person.
This event is open to the public. As in the past, this breakfast will feature food grown on the farms of LSP members. Over the years, this event has evolved into a great opportunity for citizens and legislators to come together over delicious locally-produced food to discuss policies that promote sustainable rural communities and vibrant family farms. Citizens are encouraged to invite their legislators to meet them at the breakfast.
For information on attending, volunteering to help or sponsoring an advertisement in the official breakfast program, contact LSP's Sarah Lesnar at 612-722-6377 or slesnar@landstewardshipproject.org.
